The Power of Intention in Poetic Form

Form creates a structure, which allows opportunity for the beautiful chaos of expression to unfold + flow with the understanding that it will always be held. But what structure best suits our expression? And how can we work with structure to create a home for our expression in poetry?

During this workshop, you will be supported in your creative expression by an intentional somatic practice, a study of poetic form and structure, and writing exercises wherein you will practice experiencing how you create meaning through intentional structural choices in poetry. Throughout the workshop, you will create at least 3 poems on the theme most resonant to you at the moment.
