Before there is external creative expression, there is internal creative sensation — this is sacred communication between the mind, heart, and the body. Yin Yoga is a beautiful tool that allows us to learn what our unique creative intelligence feels like in the body through static holds in our asanas, or postures.
As we remain there, holding, present, breathing, we organically sink deeper and deeper into embodied awareness — slowly and mindfully stretching our fascia, energizing our meridians + releasing tension in the body and mind.
As we sink, we learn to listen to emotional sensations, thought forms, ego-speak, and Higher Self-speak through intuition. We learn the language of our bodies, our muscles, our organs, and how our psyche communicates through all parts of our body.
We allow the breath to guide and nourish us as we cultivate the powerful resonance of a meditative state of being.
Through this practice, we become clearer about what our unique energetic signature — our creative essence — feels like. We then take this embodied self-knowing into our writing, music, art practice, and external relationships.
